Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Additional pesto for serving

  • Skewers (if using a grill)
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Shrimp:
  2. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20-30 minutes to prevent burning.
  3. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  4. Marinate the Shrimp:
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, basil pesto, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Let the shrimp marinate for 15-20 minutes for maximum flavor.
