Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 ea egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • to taste fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into squares, approximately 3x3 inches in size.
  3. Place a small piece of Brie in the center of each pastry square, topping it with about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to create a little pouch. Pinch the edges to seal them securely.
  5. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, then garnish with fresh herbs before serving warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month before baking. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes.
