For the Pecan Pie Balls
  • 1 cup pecans (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • optional melted chocolate for drizzling or rolling Can also roll in toasted coconut.

Preparation
  1. Prepare your workspace: Gather all your ingredients and tools including a mixing bowl, spatula, and a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar. Stir thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Pour in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the same bowl. Mix everything together until you achieve a thick, sticky dough.
  4. Form balls: Scoop a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  5. Chill: Place the baking sheet with the Pecan Pie Balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Optional drizzle or roll: If desired, melt some chocolate and drizzle over the balls or roll them in extra chopped pecans or coconut for added texture.

Pecan Pie Balls can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week or frozen for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator when ready to enjoy.
