Peach Dump Cake Recipe

This easy peach dump cake is a simple and delicious dessert with juicy peaches, buttery cake topping, and a hint of cinnamon. Perfect for gatherings, it’s made with just a few ingredients!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 15 ounces each of sliced peaches in syrup, drained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounces
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon optional, for extra flavor
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

Equipment

  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat the Oven
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Layer the Peaches
  4. Spread the drained peaches evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon over the peaches if desired for added warmth and flavor.
  5. Add the Cake Mix
  6. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the peaches, spreading it to cover the fruit completely.
  7. Drizzle with Butter
  8. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Be sure to cover as much of the mix as possible to achieve a golden, crispy crust when baked.
  9. Bake
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
