Ingredients
  

For the Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped Use fresh parsley for the best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen shrimp can be used.
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice For seasoning the shrimp.
  • lime wedges for garnish Lime wedges To serve on the side.

Method
 

Prepare the Chimichurri Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine the chopped parsley, olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir well, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp
  1. Rinse and pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lime juice.
Cook the Shrimp
  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking.
Combine and Serve
  1. Remove the shrimp from heat and drizzle the chimichurri sauce over the top. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
Garnish
  1. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for extra zest.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients and avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking the shrimp.
