Oven Roasted Carrots Recipe
Sweet, tender, and caramelized to perfection, these oven-roasted carrots are the ideal side dish for any meal. Simple ingredients, maximum flavor!
- 1 pound carrots peeled and cut into sticks or left whole if thin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey optional for extra sweetness
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves optional
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Carrots:
In a mixing bowl, toss the carrots with olive oil, honey (if using), salt, pepper, and garlic. Ensure they’re evenly coated.
Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Spread the carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even roasting.
Roast:
Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, turning the carrots halfway through. Roast until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
