Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the fresh orange juice, eggs, vegetable oil, and orange zest until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Do not over-mix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
Notes
