Main Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed Make sure the puff pastry is fully thawed for easy handling.
  • 1 cup Nutella Use as much or as little Nutella as you prefer.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash to give a golden finish.
  • to taste Powdered sugar Optional, for dusting before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares, approximately 4 inches by 4 inches.
  4. Place a spoonful of Nutella in the center of each pastry square, leaving space around the edges.
  5. Fold over the pastry to form a triangle and seal the edges with fingers or a fork.
  6. Beat the egg in a bowl and brush it over the tops of the pastries.
  7. Bake the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
  8. Let the pastries cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.

Notes

Do not overfill with Nutella. Keep pastry chilled during preparation for better texture. Experiment with fillings like almond butter or fruit preserves.
