Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Ensure they are finely crushed.
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted Use unsalted for better control of flavor.
For the filling
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature.
  • 1 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract Use alcohol-free for Halal compliance.
  • 1 cups heavy cream Whipped until stiff peaks form.
For the toppings
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced Plus more for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Mix until evenly coated, and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Refrigerate the crust to set while preparing the filling.
Filling
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
Assembly
  1. Pour the filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly. Top with sliced strawberries, pressing them lightly into the filling.
  2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serving
  1. Remove from the springform pan, garnish with additional strawberries, and enjoy!

Notes
