Preparation
- Start by gathering all your ingredients on your kitchen counter.
Mixing the Patties
- In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, crumbled feta, parsley, diced onion, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix everything together until well combined.
Shaping the Patties
- With wet hands, take portions of the mixture and form them into patties about 1/2 inch thick. This should yield about 6-8 patties.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- Gently place the patties in the skillet, leaving space between each one. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side or until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for an additional 4-5 minutes.
Finishing
- Ensure the internal temperature of the patties reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the patties from the skillet and allow them to rest on a paper towel. Serve warm.
Notes
Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet for 8-10 minutes or in the oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
