  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use crushed crackers or oats as substitutes if needed.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped Can substitute with cilantro or add mint for a different flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 each egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients in one area for easier access.
  • Preheat your skillet over medium heat while you mix the ingredients.

Combine Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, egg, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Shape Patties

  • With clean hands, shape the mixture into patties, aiming for about 3-4 inches in diameter. Ensure they are uniform in size for even cooking.

Cook

  • Add a splash of olive oil to your preheated skillet. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked through.

Serve

  • Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Serve warm with your favorite toppings or sauces.

Notes

Leftover patties can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, use a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side. They also freeze well for up to three months. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking.
