Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage for about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder, and let it simmer for a few minutes for flavors to meld.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, meat mixture, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Baking
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Serving
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with additional Parmesan or Italian herbs if desired!
Notes
Serve with a fresh garden salad or garlic bread. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
