- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped shiitake mushrooms, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Take a dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful of filling in the center. With a little water on your fingers, moisten the edges of the wrapper. Pinch the top to create a 'money bag' shape and ensure it’s sealed tightly. Repeat for the remaining wrappers.
- Place the dumplings in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper or a steaming tray.
Cooking
- Steam over boiling water for about 15 minutes or until the filling is cooked through.
