Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken wings split and tips removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder for crispy skin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Lemon Pepper Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Wings:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook the Wings:
  • Oven: Place the wings on a wire rack set over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Air Fryer: Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Prepare the Lemon Pepper Sauce:
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the lemon pepper seasoning, lemon juice, and zest.
  • Toss the Wings:
  • Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl. Pour the lemon pepper sauce over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve:
  • Serve immediately with celery sticks, carrot sticks, and your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
