- Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done, ensuring they are clean before cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat until it becomes bubbly and begins to foam.
Cooking
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, add lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir to combine and allow the flavors to meld together for a minute.
- Remove the skillet from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
