- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, flour, milk, baking powder, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Baking
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the lemon filling is bubbling.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
