  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 large egg Beaten until well mixed.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to help the coating adhere better.
  3. In a bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg until well mixed.
  5. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan mixture, pressing down to adhere.
  6. Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for a minute or two at the end of cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
