- In another bowl, beat the egg until well mixed.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat thoroughly with the Parmesan mixture, pressing down to adhere.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil for a minute or two at the end of cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
