Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly against the grain) Select a tender cut of beef for best results.
  • 3 cups broccoli florets Fresh broccoli is preferred for crunch.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a gluten-free option) Coconut aminos can be used as a soy sauce substitute.
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For finishing the dish.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by slicing the beef thinly against the grain. This helps with tenderness and ensures that it cooks quickly. Mince the garlic and ginger, and have your broccoli florets ready for sautéing.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the sliced beef. Season with a dash of salt and pepper. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the beef has browned.
  2. Lower the heat slightly and stir in the garlic and ginger. Sauté for another minute until fragrant but be cautious not to burn them.
  3. Toss in the broccoli florets, followed by the soy sauce (or coconut aminos). Stir everything together until the broccoli is vibrant in color, around 4-5 minutes.
  4. Once the broccoli is tender yet crisp, drizzle with sesame oil and mix well.
  5. Transfer your delicious Keto Low Carb Beef and Broccoli to a serving dish. Enjoy it alone or with cauliflower rice for an even lower-carb option.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking the beef. You can substitute beef with chicken or shrimp if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container; it will stay fresh for about 3-4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to a month.
