Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use your favorite cheese.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Warmed tortillas are easier to roll.
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup Can be adjusted according to taste.
  • 1/4 cup mustard Can be adjusted according to taste.
Optional Toppings
  • sour cream Add if desired.
  • jalapeños Add for a spicy kick.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain the fat to keep the burrito filling nice and lean.
  2. Add the taco seasoning to the beef with a bit of water as per package instructions. Stir and let it simmer for another 5 minutes until well combined.
Preparing the Tortillas
  1. Heat the flour tortillas on a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side, just until warm and pliable.
  2. Place a generous amount of the seasoned beef in the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and top with lettuce, diced tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
  3. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up from the bottom, making sure it’s tightly packed.
Serving
  1. Slice the burritos in half for easy serving, and enjoy your mouthwatering creation!

Notes

These burritos can be customized with various toppings. Don’t overfill them to avoid bursting, and they can be made ahead of time.
