Ingredients
  

For the Jello Base
  • 2 cups fruit-flavored Jello (strawberry, raspberry, or lemon)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1.5 cups cold water
For the Filling
  • 1 cup mixed fruit (diced grapes, strawberries, and blueberries)
  • 0.5 cup whipped topping (ensure it’s Halal-friendly)
Optional Garnish
  • to taste fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, dissolve the Jello powder into 2 cups of boiling water, stirring vigorously until fully dissolved.
  2. Mix in 1 ½ cups of cold water to quickly cool the mixture.
  3. Pour the Jello mixture into egg molds or a cupcake tray, filling them to about ¾ full.
  4. Place the molds in the refrigerator and let them set for at least 4 hours, or until fully firm.
Assembly
  1. Once the Jello is set, carefully remove them from the molds and spoon a bit of mixed fruit into the center of each piece.
  2. Top each Jello piece with a dollop of whipped topping and add fresh mint if desired.
  3. Arrange on a colorful platter and serve.

Notes

Keep Jello in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. They can be frozen but may lose some texture upon thawing. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
