Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 packs (3 oz) your favorite flavored gelatin Choose halal-friendly options.
Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream Store-bought or homemade.
  • as needed fresh fruit slices (e.g., strawberries, kiwis, or oranges) For garnish.
  • as needed sprinkles or edible glitter For an extra festive touch.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, pour the boiling water over the gelatin powder. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Once the gelatin is dissolved, add the cold water to the mixture and stir well to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into egg-shaped molds or a simple round dish. You can also use a cupcake tray or small plastic cups for fun individual servings.
  4. Place your molds in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  5. Once set, carefully remove the jello from the molds by dipping them briefly in warm water to loosen the edges.
  6. Arrange your Jello eggs on a platter and top with dollops of whipped cream and slices of fresh fruit.

Notes

For a healthier option, try sugar-free gelatin. Avoid adding fruit directly to the gelatin mixture before it sets to maintain presentation. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and enjoy within 3 days for optimal flavor and texture.
