Preparation
  1. Peel your ripe bananas and slice them into rounds about 1-inch thick.
  2. Spread a small amount of peanut butter on one slice, then top it with another slice to form a peanut butter banana sandwich. Repeat this process with all banana rounds.
  3. Place your peanut butter banana sandwiches on a parchment-lined tray and pop them in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals, and stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  5. Dip each sandwich into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and a pinch of salt right after coating.
  6. Return the chocolate-covered sandwiches to the parchment-lined tray and place them back in the freezer for at least 1-2 hours or until the chocolate is completely set.
  7. Remove from the freezer and enjoy your delightful bites straight away.
