Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Fold the diced apples into the dry mixture.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl and stir until combined.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top and swirl it in.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the oats are set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. To freeze, slice and wrap each piece tightly. Thaw in the fridge and reheat in the microwave when ready to enjoy.
