Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey or chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into meatballs about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Place the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket and air fry for 10-12 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, remove the meatballs from the air fryer and let cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, incorporate different herbs or spices. Can use crushed crackers instead of breadcrumbs or finely chopped vegetables for extra nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
