Method
Preparation
- Start by thawing your lobster tails if they're frozen. Use kitchen scissors to cut down the center of the shell, stopping just before the tail.
- Gently pull the lobster meat up and over the shell to rest on top.
Making the Butter Mixture
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Coating the Lobster
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring that it's well-coated for maximum flavor.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the lobster tails in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for about 8-10 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque, tender, and slightly shy of browning.
Serving
- Remove the lobster from the air fryer, drizzle with any remaining butter and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve alongside lemon wedges for that extra zing.
Notes
Substitutions: Use infused oils or citrus sauces that are Halal compliant to enhance flavors. Cooking time may vary based on the size of lobster tails; larger tails may require an additional 2-3 minutes. Avoid overcooking to prevent tough texture.
