  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients, softening the cream cheese to blend easily.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned, breaking it into crumbles.
  2. Drain any excess fat and reduce the heat to low. Add the softened cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until melted and combined.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined and heated through.
Serving
  1. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and enjoy immediately with tortilla chips, bread, or fresh veggies.

Notes

For a lighter version, use chicken or turkey sausage. Mix different cheese varieties for fun! Adjust heat level by modifying the tomatoes or sausage type. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days; reheat in the microwave or on low heat in a saucepan.
