Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
Cooking
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden.
- Flip the salmon fillets to skin-side up and pour the honey garlic mixture over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
Garnishing
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Freezing is also an option for up to 2 months.
