Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your sourdough starter, all-purpose flour, olive oil, and salt. Stir until it forms a cohesive dough.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place your rolled-out dough on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with any optional toppings.
Baking
- Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into squares or rectangles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
Serving
- Serve the crackers on their own or with your favorite dips.
Notes
To keep your crackers fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-10 minutes to regain crunch.
