Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and sugar until well blended.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, and stir until fully combined.
- Scoop small portions of the dough, roll into balls, and place them on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
Cooling
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
To keep cookies fresh, store in an airtight container at room temperature for about one week. Refrigerate for up to two weeks or freeze for longer storage.
