Preparation
  1. Peel the peaches and cut them into small chunks. Sprinkle lemon juice over them if desired.
  2. In a blender, combine the diced peaches, whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Transfer the chilled mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
  5. Once churning is complete, transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  6. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy your refreshing homemade peach ice cream!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks. Let sit out for 5-10 minutes before scooping.
