Ingredients
  

Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups rolled oats Base of the granola bars.
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans) Choose your favorite type of nuts.
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (like cranberries or raisins) Add for sweetness and flavor.
  • 1/4 cup seeds (such as chia or sunflower seeds) Optional for added nutrition.
  • a pinch salt Enhances flavor.
Wet ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup Acts as a natural sweetener.
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut or almond) Helps to bind the bars together.
Optional ingredients
  • to taste chocolate chips or coconut flakes Add for extra flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, dried fruits, seeds, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
Combining ingredients
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, gently melt the nut butter and honey or maple syrup until smooth.
  2. Pour the warm nut butter mixture over the oat mixture and stir until well-coated.
Baking
  1. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing firmly down.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  3. Allow to cool completely in the baking dish before cutting into bars.

Notes

Customize ingredients based on preferences. Store in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze individually for up to two months. Thaw overnight in the fridge.
