Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Chop the onions, mince the garlic, and dice the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Add the ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the flavors meld.
  4. Add the diced sweet potatoes and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to coat the sweet potatoes.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top with shredded cheese, if desired.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, or until warmed through.
