  • 1/2 cup orange juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Use low sodium if preferred.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced Adds a zesty flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh minced garlic is recommended.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Add for garnish and flavor.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Rice or noodles for serving Cook according to package instructions.

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Chop the green onions, mince the garlic and ginger, and have your orange juice ready.
Cooking
  1. Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and pour in the sesame oil. Allow it to warm up.
  2. Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Use a spatula to break it apart as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes until it’s no longer pink.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked, stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the orange juice and soy sauce. Stir well to combine all the flavors, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss in chopped green onions just before serving.

Notes
