Preparation
  1. Remove any outer leaves from the cabbage. Slice it into ¾-inch thick 'steaks', yielding about 4 to 6 steaks.
Seasoning
  1. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture over both sides of each cabbage steak.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. For a grill pan, heat it until hot but not smoking.
  2. Place the seasoned cabbage steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until tender and grill marks appear.
Serving
  1. Remove the cabbage steaks from the grill. Top with optional feta cheese, tahini sauce, or fresh herbs and serve.

Notes

For best results, ensure your grill is well-heated. Storing leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator can last up to four days. Reheat in a toaster oven or skillet to maintain texture.
