Ingredients
  

For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 1 package Golden Oreos (approximately 15-20 cookies), crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream Whipped until stiff peaks form.
Optional Toppings
  • to taste extra crushed Golden Oreos
  • to taste whipped cream
  • to taste chocolate syrup

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a spatula, moving slowly to keep the fluffiness intact.
Assembly
  1. In clear glasses, start by adding crushed Golden Oreos, followed by a layer of the cheesecake mixture.
  2. Repeat the layers until the glasses are filled, finishing with a layer of cheesecake.
  3. Top with additional whipped cream, more crushed Oreos, or your choice of chocolate syrup.
Chilling
  1. Place the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to set the layers.

Notes

For a lighter option, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. The longer the parfaits chill, the better the flavors meld, so consider making them a day ahead. Be careful not to overmix the whipped cream into the cheese mixture.
