Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough Use refrigerated crescent roll dough.
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or canned) Fresh crab meat is preferred.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended and creamy.
  3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and lay it out on a clean surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.
Assembly
  1. Spoon a generous amount of the crab mixture onto the widest end of each triangle.
  2. Starting at the wide end, roll the crescent triangles up toward the point, enclosing the crab filling. Tuck the ends in to prevent spilling.
Baking
  1. Place the filled crescent bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
  3. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Best enjoyed warm.

Notes

Use quality ingredients for the best flavor. You can substitute canned crab meat if fresh is not available. Add herbs or spices like dill for additional flavor.
