Cooking the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gluten-free pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Usually, this takes around 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the garlic. Stir and bring it to a gentle simmer, allowing it to thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes.
- Gradually add the grated parmesan cheese, whisking continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combining and Serving
- Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, ensuring each piece is well-coated in the creamy garlic sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- Take your gluten-free garlic parmesan pasta off the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy while warm!
Notes
Experiment with different brands of gluten-free pasta to find the best texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet, adding a splash of cream or water.
