- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Coating: In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare the Chicken: Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and the breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then press into the breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake: Arrange chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden.
- Serve: Let the chicken rest, then slice or serve whole, garnishing with parsley or basil if desired.
Notes
For gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C).
