  • 1 cup bread crumbs (preferably whole wheat) For added texture
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs Beaten
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste

Preparation
  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Coating: In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Prepare the Chicken: Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Coat the Chicken: Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then press into the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Bake: Arrange chicken on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden.
  6. Serve: Let the chicken rest, then slice or serve whole, garnishing with parsley or basil if desired.

Notes

For gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for 2 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C).
