Ingredients
  

For the Steak
  • 1 lb Steak Tips Halal-certified beef
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 4 tbsp Butter Unsalted garlic butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking
  • to taste Salt and Pepper To taste
For the Pasta
  • 1 lb Rigatoni Pasta Cooked al dente
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded, or your choice of cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • optional Fresh Parsley Chopped for garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Rigatoni
  1. Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
Searing the Steak Tips
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak tips with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the steak tips to the pan and sear them for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Preparing the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter.
  2. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Combining Everything
  1. Return the steak tips to the skillet and stir to coat in the garlic butter.
  2. Add the cooked rigatoni and gently toss together. If the mixture seems dry, add pasta water, one tablespoon at a time.
Adding the Cheesy Goodness
  1. Stir in shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat using the microwave or a skillet on low heat, adding a splash of water or extra garlic butter if needed.
