- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions, stirring occasionally, and sauté for about 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a deep golden brown.

- In a baking dish, place the chicken breasts and pour the onion mixture over the top.
