Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz rice noodles (preferably pancit bihon or a similar type) Soaked until soft
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced Slice against the grain for tenderness
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Adjust to taste
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, cabbage) Any combination of preferred vegetables
  • 1 medium onion, sliced Adds sweetness and flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances aroma
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil For frying
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • to taste Green onions, chopped For garnish
  • as needed Lemon wedges For serving

Method

Preparation
  1. Soak the rice noodles in warm water for about 10-15 minutes until they are soft. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large frying pan or wok, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the beef is browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sliced onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
  4. Toss in your mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are vibrant and slightly tender.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the pan along with the softened noodles. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, and mix everything together well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until everything is heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side for that zesty touch.

Notes

For a perfect dish, use high-quality rice noodles, slice beef thinly against the grain, and feel free to substitute vegetables according to taste.
