  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (discard the flavor packet)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste for heat)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Method
 

Cooking the Chicken
  1. Start by heating a tablespoon of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Remove them from the pan and allow them to rest before slicing.
Preparing the Ramen
  1. In the same pan, add the chicken broth, soy sauce, and ginger. Bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes). When done, reduce heat to low.
Making the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  1. Add the minced garlic and sriracha to the pan with the cooked noodles. Slowly pour in the heavy cream and stir until everything is combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
Combining Chicken and Noodles
  1. While the sauce is thickening, slice the chicken breasts. Once the sauce reaches your desired consistency, gently fold in the chicken slices.
Serving
  1. Divide the Fiery Chicken Ramen into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Dive into this delightful dish while it’s still warm!

Notes

For milder heat, adjust sriracha to taste. You can swap chicken for tofu or add more vegetables to enhance nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
