  • 1 package 1 package (15.25 ounces) of chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed) Use crushed cookies for the dirt texture.
  • 2 packages 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) of instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 cups 4 cups of milk Full-fat milk recommended for creaminess.
  • 1 container 1 container (8 ounces) of whipped topping (thawed)
Optional Decorations
  • as desired Gummy worms or other fun decorations For topping the cake.

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk. Use a whisk to stir until fully blended and smooth, about 2 minutes.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping with a spatula until well combined, creating a creamy and luscious filling.
Layering
  1. Begin layering your dessert! Start with a layer of the chocolate pudding mixture at the bottom of a clear glass bowl or individual dessert cups.
  2. Add a layer of crushed chocolate cookies on top, creating a nice 'dirt' appearance.
  3. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of your serving dish, ending with a layer of crushed cookies.
  4. To add a fun touch, decorate the top with gummy worms or fresh fruits if desired.
Chill
  1. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
