  • 1 lb Halal sausage (such as chicken or turkey sausage)
  • 2 pieces bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
Seasoning and Oil
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the bell peppers and onion into thick strips.
  3. On a large baking sheet, spread out the sliced veggies evenly.
  4. Cut the Halal sausages into bite-sized pieces and add them to the sheet pan.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the sausage and veggies. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning evenly across the mix.
  6. Toss the sausages and vegetables until everything is coated in oil and seasoning.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender with crispy edges. Stir halfway through to ensure even roasting.

Notes
