  • 1 head head of cabbage Choose a firm, fresh cabbage.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove any outer leaves from the cabbage and slice the cabbage head into thick 'steaks' approximately 1-inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix the minced garlic with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with the garlic oil mixture.
  4. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each steak.
Cooking
  1. Roast the cabbage in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and slightly crisp on the edges.
  2. Once roasted, sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes.
