Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb block of your favorite cheese (like mozzarella or feta) Different cheese varieties can be used.
  • 1 cup salami, sliced Sliced thinly for better integration with cheese.
  • 1 cup green olives, pitted Use plump green olives for best results.
Marinade
  • 1 cup olive oil High-quality olive oil enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Adds a mix of herbs for flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Optional for a bit of heat.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic is recommended.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the cheese into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch each. Place the cubes in a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Toss in the sliced salami and the green olives.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
  4. Pour the marinade over the cheese, salami, and olives in the bowl. Gently toss to ensure everything is coated evenly.
  5. Cover the bowl and let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for even more flavor.
  6. Once ready, transfer the marinated cheese, salami, and olives to a serving platter, and enjoy!

Notes

For deeper flavor, allow the cheese to marinate longer, preferably for a couple of hours or overnight. Experimenting with different cheeses and adding fresh herbs can enhance the dish.
