Method

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
Making the Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then, pour in the honey BBQ sauce, stirring to combine thoroughly.
Mixing with Beef
  1. Add the cooked ground beef back to the skillet and mix until it's evenly coated with the sauce. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors together.
Preparing the Tortillas
  1. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet or on a griddle over medium heat for about 1 minute on each side until soft and warm.
Assembling the Tacos
  1. Place a generous spoonful of the beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, or avocado.
Serving
  1. Fold the tortillas over the filling and enjoy your delicious Easy Garlic Butter Honey BBQ Beef Tacos right away!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the beef mixture on the stovetop or in the microwave. For crispy tortillas, toast them slightly in a dry skillet before refilling.
