Preparation
- If using frozen chicken nuggets, cook according to package instructions until golden brown. For homemade nuggets, preheat your oven and bake until fully cooked and crispy, roughly 12–15 minutes.
- While the nuggets are cooking, gently warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for about 10–15 seconds to make them pliable for wrapping.
Assembly
- Lay a warm tortilla flat on a plate. Start with a layer of shredded lettuce, followed by a few slices of tomato, and then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Add 4–5 crispy chicken nuggets on top of the cheese and drizzle your preferred sauce over the nuggets.
- To wrap, fold the sides of the tortilla over the fillings, then roll it tightly from one end to the other.
- Repeat this for each tortilla until all the nuggets are used.
Serving
- Cut each wrap in half diagonally to make them easier to handle, and serve with extra sauce on the side.
Notes
Feel free to substitute the chicken nuggets with halal chicken strips or roasted vegetables for a vegetarian twist. If short on time, consider prepping the toppings ahead of time for quicker assembly. Avoid overfilling the wraps to make them easier to roll and enjoy. Leftover wraps can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
