Preparation
- Season your chicken strips with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
- In another bowl, pour your breadcrumbs. Coat each seasoned chicken strip evenly with the breadcrumbs.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Brush or spray the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place the coated chicken strips in a single layer in the basket. Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through and crispy.
Assembly
- Once the chicken is cooked, take a wrap and place a few chicken strips in the center. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Roll the wrap tightly, tucking in the ends. Return the wraps to the air fryer and air fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
You can substitute chicken for halal turkey or grilled vegetables for a vegetarian option. Monitor wraps as they crisp; avoid overcrowding the air fryer.
