Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips pure bliss melted down
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal for that delightful crunch
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows because who can resist?
  • ½ cup mixed nuts, chopped (optional) adds an extra layer of flavor
  • to taste colorful candy-coated chocolates for decoration

Method

Preparation
  1. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate with the crispy rice cereal, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts (if using). Stir gently until everything is coated in chocolate.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and shape them into nests on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Make a small indentation in the center to hold the chocolate candies.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, allowing the chocolates to harden.
  5. Once set, fill the nests with colorful candy-coated chocolates for a beautiful finish. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes

For a nut-free option, skip the nuts or replace them with extra marshmallows or dried fruits. Avoid overheating your chocolate to prevent burning.
